Poppy

RSCN1408

I always wear a Remembrance Poppy at this time of year in memory of my Grandad. He fought in Burma in the 2nd World War with the Chindits, who were like the SAS of that time.

  1. It is a wonderful gesture of commemoration. I painted some poppies this week and RD crossed my mind but of course I forgot the date or I would have published it already. I do know that the clocks go back at 2AM so you’ll have an extra hour of sleep. Enjoy. And have a good Rememberance Day.
